Terms and Conditions for Sung Remote

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Sung Remote mobile application (“App”) developed and provided by Seven Camps (“we”, “our”, “us”). By downloading or using this App, you agree to these Terms.

1. Use of the App

Sung Remote is designed to work as a virtual remote control for Samsung Smart TVs over your local Wi-Fi network. You must:

  • Ensure your phone and TV are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.

  • Grant required permissions (e.g., Local Network Access) to enable discovery and control.

  • Use the app only for personal, non-commercial purposes.

2. No Warranty

This App is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. While we strive for compatibility and performance, we do not guarantee

  • That the app will connect to all Samsung TV models.

  • That Wake-on-LAN or power-on functionality will work in all network configurations.

  • Continuous or error-free operation.

Functionality may depend on your TV model, network setup, and device settings.

3. User Responsibility

You are solely responsible for:

  • Providing a valid MAC address (if using Wake-on-LAN).

  • Accepting connection permission prompts on your TV.

  • Ensuring your network configuration supports device discovery.

You agree not to misuse the App, reverse engineer it, or use it in any way that could harm the app, network, or third-party services.

4. Data & Privacy

Sung Remote does not collect or store personal data on servers. All data (e.g., saved TV info) is stored locally on your device. For more information, read our Privacy Policy.

5. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Seven Camps be liable for:

  • Any damage to your TV or mobile device.

  • Loss of data, usage, or connectivity.

  • Issues arising from incorrect setup or denied permissions.

Use of the app is at your own risk.

6. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the app if you violate these Terms or engage in any unauthorized or harmful use.

7. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. You are advised to review this page periodically. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
